2017 - 2018 TUITION & FEES

**Book Fees and Student Insurance are due before school begins. August 1st for students in the Fall and January 1st for students attending only the second semester. These cannot be prorated regardless of when a student starts.
***Chromebooks ONLY need to be purchased by students who do not have one from the school last year. This includes rising 6th grade students, new students, and students who need to replace a damaged one from last year. Chromebooks must be purchased by 6th-12th students and they must be purchased through the school. Please see the Technology Agreement for more information.
This fee must be paid before the Chromebook is ordered.
Due Dates: Students registered by May 1st; payment due May 31st. Students registered by June 1st; payment due June 30th. Student registered by July 1st; payment due July 31st. Students registered after July 1st; payment due August 11th. Students who pay for their Chromebook after the June 30th deadline will not be guaranteed to have it available to them by the first day of school. Students who pay for their Chromebook on the August 11th deadline will NOT have it on the 1st day of school.
****Tuition for all seniors attending Anderson Christian School will be charged the full tuition rate if the student is taking 4 or more classes on campus. The tuition will be discounted 15% if taking 3 classes on campus; 30% if taking 1 or 2 classes on campus.
PLEASE NOTE: The only amount that will be drafted from your account is your regular payment plan of tuition and the monthly administrative fee. ALL other fees will be billed to you through FACTS and you will have the option to pay as you choose. These fees are NOT automatically drafted unless you set up your FACTS account to do so.
Early Payment Discount: If Tuition is paid in full by June 30th, the total tuition bill will be discounted 2.5%.
Multiple Child Discount: Families with more than one student attending ACS will be awarded a multiple child discount. The oldest student will be full price, but all younger students will be charged their tuition minus 15%.
Pastoral Discount: Families who are involved in the ministry will be awarded a 20% discount per child.
Part-Time Employee Discount: Employees who work 25-29 hours a week at ACS will receive a 25% discount per child.
Full-Time Employee Discount: Employees who are considered full-time or work 30 plus hours a week at ACS will receive a 50% discount per child.
*Families are only eligible to receive one category of discount. Discounts cannot be added together.
Additional fees that may be added to your account throughout the school year:
Late Fee: If payment is not received by the established due date a late fee of $75 per student will be added to the account. This fee will be assessed every subsequent 30 days the payment is late.
Returned Check Fee: A fee of $75 will be assessed for a check returned by the bank for any reason.
Registration Fee for Returning Students: $95.00 per student. ($250.00 per family for NEW students) This is a non-refundable fee and is due at the time of re-enrollment.
Kingdom Kids: Our afterschool program is $12.00 per day and is billed weekly. A balance that is 30 days late for Kingdom Kids will result in the child not being allowed to remain in Kingdom Kids until the balance is paid in full. Elementary students not picked by 3:05 will be signed in at the parent’s expense to Kingdom Kids. Middle and High School students not picked up by 3:25 will be signed in to Kingdom Kids at the parent’s expense. Students still in Kingdom Kids care after 5:30 will be assessed a late fee of $5 for the first minute and an additional $1 for subsequent minutes until they are signed out.
Lunch Charges: Bi-weekly lunch orders must be paid in full when submitting lunch order forms. Students may also purchase food in the lunch room, but must be able to pay for them at the time of purchase. NO CHARGES IN THE LUNCHROOM ARE PERMITTED.
Annual Student Technology Fee: Students in 6th-12th grade must purchase their chromebook through the school and are responsible for repairing any damages to the chromebook or charger. Students in K5-5th grade use class sets of iPads and are responsible for paying the school to correct any damages to the school iPad that is assigned to the student. Any damage that is inflicted to any piece of school technology that is in the care of the student is subject to charges. Any damage that is inflicted to school technology that is caused by the student is subject to charges, even if the technology is not assigned to that student. Any unreturned pieces of school technology that are assigned to the student are subject to charges.
Athletic Fees: There is a fee for every sport played through the school that varies based upon the sport and age group of the team. Prices range from $125-$250. Additional fees may apply when the student does not turn in uniform(s) or equipment.
MS/HS Retreat Fee: Every year the 6th-12th grade students attend a retreat at the beginning of the year. The payment for this trip is usually due within the first month of school and ranges from $125-$250 depending on the location chosen for that year. Students registered prior to July 31st must have retreat fees paid in full by August 1st. Students registering after July 31st must have retreat fees paid in full prior to leaving for the retreat. A late fee will be charged immediately if this fee is not paid by its date.
Misc.: You will be notified of any other fees throughout the year for field trips, special occasions, mission days, etc. Once they are on the account, they are the responsibility of the financially responsible party.
*These charges are the responsibility of the financially responsible party of the student to whom they are charged. If there is an error, it is the responsibility of the financially responsible party to contact ACS within 30 days of the charge being applied to correct it. The financially responsible party will be held accountable for all charges placed on their account.
Tuition fees are charged on an annual basis, but may be paid in one installment (2.5% discount if paid by June 30 prior to the school year), semesterly, quarterly, or monthly installments on a 10 month (Aug – May) or 12 month (June – May) plan. If you are entering later in the year, a payment plan will be arranged for the months in which you will be present at the school. Tuition and fees must be paid in full by the last day of school. Students will not be given final grades or records unless the account has a $0.00 balance. This applies to returning students and withdrawn students. Students will NOT be considered enrolled for the new year until their financial account for the previous year is settled. Graduating seniors will not receive their diploma until all tuition and fees are paid in full.
Admission during 2nd Quarter = 25% off full tuition
Admission during 3rd Quarter = 50% off full tuition
Admission during 4th Quarter = 75% off full tuition
Books, Chromebook, Student Insurance, and Annual Administrative Fees will be charged at the regular amount.
